Sept 22 2022 Changelog
It has been a very long time since we had a substantial large change to the server. In preparation for the rollout of WoE2, here are the item changes along with other changes that will roll out this weekend.

Battlegrounds Item Changes
The item changes listed in War of Emperium Changes are now in effect in the server, with the following changes though:
- Glorious Huuma Shuriken will remain unbreakable: even though Huuma Shuriken is innately breakable, all other Huuma Shuriken is given the unbreakable property, so we'll treat it as if the weapon family is meant to be unbreakable
- Slaughter and Destruction will no longer be a keyword- their effects are described in words in the item description
Note that no other WoE2 changes are applied yet- this patch is mostly a rollout of item effects and other front end changes in preparation.
Item Changes
- Hylozoist Card has a new effect: Hylozoist card will enable the use of Level 1 Unfair Trick, or increase the mastery level of Unfair Trick by 1 (up to a maximum of 10)
- Polymorphic Shard is a new accessory with Hylozoist card's old effect where it adds a 5% chance of transforming a monster while fighting. Effect does not work in towns or bosses.
- Haircut Coupon has been retired. You can consume it to get a Gift Box back. Style will no longer charge a haircut coupon for custom hairstyle, and instead this service will be offered freely. All rewards that normally give out gift boxes will be changed to give either Gift Box or Old Blue Box, such as Poring Smash or Nobility. This change will take effect some time in the upcoming weekend.
- Cronache Stella has its atk raised from 105 to 120. Its equip level is lowered from 90 to 70. The effect is changed from "When dealing Physical Damage, there is a 1% chance to heal 3000 HP. Each refine increases this chance by 0.1%. (up to a maximum trigger rate of once every 5 seconds)" to "For every refine rate of this weapon, there is a 0.3% chance to heal 3000 HP (up to a maximum trigger rate of once every 5 seconds) when dealing Physical Damage."
- Hellion Revenant Card's hp drain ability is applicable to all classes, though its SP drain effect remains unique to Star Gladiators
- Any Hatter Voucher will be replaced with Old Red Box: such as in God Item Quests and Thanatos Tower Quest. This has no functional changes, but only a continuation to retire the Hatter Voucher for Old Red Box, which both hand out Hatter items.
The following items have their sell prices increased. This should lower (but not eliminate) the gap in earned zeny between some of the custom dungeons in heRO with the currently established zeny hunting locations. All numbers have Overcharge lv 10 factored already.

Items that are disabled in WoE are now labelled in its item description. Note that this has not been applied yet, but it will take effect in the near future.
Blacksmith Card Combo
As a follow up to the Blacksmith related changes from earlier this year, its card combo has been updated just like the other modified classes in heRO server. Below are the new combo effects of Raggler, Myst Case, Baby Leopard, Zipper Bear and Hylozoist Card:
- STR + 10
- Inflict 20% more damage with Mammonite.
- Restore 1 SP every time when attacking.
- "Zipper Bear" card no longer drains SP on attack.
- Add a chance of gaining "Old Purple Box" each time a monster is killed.
- [Blacksmith Class]
- Increase the level of Unfair Trick learnt by 2
- Reflect single target Magic back at the caster (Success Chance 20%).
Monster Changes
- Hylozoist now drops Polymorphic Shard at 0.75%
Decard Option
From Sept 22 to Oct 22, the GM team will offer free decard for any gears that have the following cards. You will get both the card and the gears back safely.
New Schematic Items
4 new schematics are added to the server, which produces 16 new costumes. You can check the Custom_Quests#Modified_Official_Quests for some of this information.
Schematics Of The Fallen
Creates the following:
- Rank 1 Costume Gothic Skull Ribbon
- Rank 2 Costume Beelzebub Crown
- Rank 3 Costume Devil's Hand
- Rank 4 Costume Chibi Beelzebub
Obtained from Nameless Island Entrance Quest: Once you completed step 17, you can return to Hibram's office to check his desk for 3 Enriched Elunium, 3 Enriched Oridecon, and a Schematics Of the Fallen. This quest is retroactive by checking out the desk.
Demon King's Schematic
Creates the following:
- Rank 1 Costume Ancient Horn
- Rank 2 Costume Sinister Horn
- Rank 3 Costume Large Majestic Horns (costume version of Gigantic Majestic Goat)
- Rank 4 Costume Orcus Wings
Obtained from [Sealed Shrine]- creating the Gigantic Majestic Goat will also give you a Demon King's Schematic. Note that this is not retroactive.
Alfheim Schematics
Creates the following:
- Rank 1: Costume Stardust Hairband
- Rank 1: Costume Flower Summer Hat
- Rank 2: Costume Duneyrr Hat
- Rank 3: Costume Tendrillion Hat
Obtained from Two Tribes- Quest completion also grants you 3 Enriched Elunium, 3 Enriched Oridecon, Alfheim Schematics and 15 Allegiance Points. This reward is retroactive by talking with Snorren.
Wind-Up Schematics
Creates the following:
- Rank 1: Costume Blue Clock Casket
- Rank 2: Costume Wind-Up Key
- Rank 3: Costume Clocktower Intercom
- Rank 4: Costume Mainspring Screw
The Wind-Up Schematics is available from Hatter Jr located at 1@ctf2,224,268. He will ask for 1 Clock Tower Hat, 150 Aspects of Warped Time and 1 Twisted Time Key for the schematics. All of these items are obtained within the instance, with the Twisted Time Key from Time Holder.
Bug Fixes
- God Poring Card, after 10 years of doing literally nothing, is finally fixed to do what its card description said. For reference, there are at least 2 owners of this card. Neither owners reported this bug.
- Snow Angeling Card now works properly with the Fury status instead of Wind Walk status
- Dark Lord and Dark Illusion card combo texts have been clarified
- Some old official card combos that don't mention what they combo with, has their combo cards listed in their item texts
(Bugfix on Sept 25)
- Cat Ear Beret should properly reduce SP cost instead of increase SP cost
- Attitude to the New World quest should be fixed now where the Guard in step 2 is missing. This guard does nothing but progress you through the quest. You do not need to talk to him to go to the Nepenthes field. He exists because more people rely on external guides who expect you to talk to the guard, and removing him ended up confusing more players instead.
