Strategy

It is best to have a Professor with Land Protector to deal with the barrage of Meteor Storms, Lord of Vermillions and Evil Lands. Players can make use of the pillars and throne in Orcus' lair to cover from Evil Land.

The most popular strategy for this boss would be to have a Champion Asura Strike it until 30% HP where it turns to Ghost property (the level of Ghost property is randomly decided between 1 to 4) and have a Sniper sub in as the damage dealer with ghost Double Strafings until it dies.

Demon resists (such as Love Bear Hat and Red Heart Eyepatch combo), fire resists and Stone curse immunity (Medusa-carded shield) are among the recommended things to bring when facing Orcus.

Note

This boss will typically make a dungeon-wide announcement once in a while if it's alive, and will make a server-wide announcement when killed.
