What if we were trying to avoid the mvp? I've trained plenty of times on the orc maps and got cought off guard by an Orc Lord a couple of times. with mobsearch I would have a bit of a heads up, and if it gave coordinates then I would know where not to go.
Hotkey f wing? If you're still lvling at Orc warriors, Ladies and Babies you're probably low enough to regain that lost 1% in 30 seconds. After you die once I am sure you can avoid going near the area where you saw the MVP. Unless you can't learn from the first time.. Then even @mobsearch won't really help you. MVPs are rewarding because you have to spend time on looking for them or camping them.
Take a chill pill Bloody, it's commonly known that you MVP a lot, your name is bound to show up in a conversation relating to MVP. He didn't write any insults so no need to get so jumpy. If what he said bothers you learn to express it calmly.
Haha. She's just showing her passion for MVPing. I can understand this, and would normally take her side. I was merely showing a different side of the story here, Bloody. =o
In any case, I believe that you guys are right. If you're low lvl and run into an MVP then you should be able to regain the exp no problem, and then avoid that area of the map.
MVPing is about the hunt, not the items, and a mobsearch would rob us of that.
Negatives:
1. makes the game less challenging
2. Gives away coordinates
Positives:
1. Saves time (But we`re on a game to waste time)
Conclusion: No need for @mobsearch command. Just search yer monsters. If you need to know the count of the monsters just check ratemyserver for best killing results.

MVPs don't belong to anyone. The whole idea of MVP supports this.
Most Valueble Person - Most valueble out of what? Out of a GROUP of players. The person who can do the most dmg is the MVP. Which means you can't go running around saying "Hey this is MY MVP". There is nothing such as "my" MVP.

I'm saying to take it easy. I don't find what he said to be particularly offending, but even if you found it so, it is no reason to escalate, that's how flames start.

the only reason I requested that this be added was because I spent an hour searching for an MVP because nobody on main said anything about killing it. By the time I realized I was doing something stupid and fruitless, he'd spawned again so I went to kill it only to be thwarted by Bloody (who'd killed in previously and knew when it would spawn) who came by and nuked it.
I don't need a stupid command to track down MVPs and get them.
